| BOTANICAL GARDEN |
 The Alpine Botanical Garden at Viote is one of the oldest and largest in the Alps. It extends for over ten hectares in the heart of one of the most picturesque areas in Trento’s mountains at an altitude of 1.500 metres. Currently the Garden holds a range of over 1000 species of plants from high altitude in the Alps and from the principal mountain ranges in the world. They are held according to the characteristics of their home environment. In the Botanical Garden guided tours are organised, as well as a host of initiatives providing scientific information through activities such as excursions, performances, games etc. |
